ProBuild Names Mark B. Butterman as General Counsel

Denver, CO. ( June 25, 2007) — ProBuild Holdings Inc., the nation’s largest professional building materials supplier, today announced the appointment of Mark B. Butterman as vice president and general counsel. Butterman, a highly talented and experienced attorney, will be responsible for overseeing the legal function for ProBuild.

“Mark brings with him a wealth of experience which will support the growth of ProBuild’s business,” said Fred Marino, ProBuild vice chairman. “He has extensive business and legal knowledge in key areas such as mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, financing and leasing. We are happy to include Mark on our executive leadership team.”

Previously, Butterman served as partner and head of the commercial leasing and property management practice at Schwartz Cooper Chartered. He was also Secretary and outside General Counsel of Wickes Lumber Company, and previously served as inside General Counsel at Wickes. He has also held a senior legal position at Coldwell Banker Commercial Group.

Butterman earned his B.A. from Grinnell College, J.D. from Loyola University School of Law and MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He is a member of the American Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association. Mark and his family will relocate to the Denver area.
