ProBuild Acquires Rosen Building Supplies
Company Enters Las Vegas Market, Strengthens Gypsum Operations in Florida

Denver, CO (December 18, 2007) – ProBuild Holdings, the nation’s largest supplier of building materials to professional contractors, announced today the purchase of Fort Lauderdale, Florida - based Rosen Building Supplies, a full-service supplier of drywall and related products to commercial and residential building markets. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Rosen Building Supplies is comprised of four Florida sites located in Miami, Riviera Beach, Vero Beach and Fort Myers and one site in Las Vegas, Nevada operating as Garrett Materials. The Florida operations will become part of ProBuild’s Eastern Region and the Las Vegas operation will become part of the Western Region.

“The addition of the Rosen locations firmly anchors our gypsum position in central and south Florida, and gives us a strong position in the important Las Vegas market as well,” explained ProBuild Gypsum President Rich Young. “But the most important aspect of the transaction is that we are retaining the management leadership of key Rosen people like Drew Rosen, Brian Gordon, and J.D. Garrett”.
