Bernardoni Named Senior Vice President of Manufacturing
Denver, CO (January 28, 2008) ProBuild Holdings Inc., the nation’s largest professional building materials supplier, has announced the appointment of Lonnie Bernardoni the position of senior vice president of manufacturing. In this new role, Bernardoni will be responsible for overseeing ProBuild’s manufacturing activities.
“Component and millwork manufacturing capabilities are a critical element in ProBuild’s strategic growth plan,” said Bill Myrick, ProBuild president of strategic initiatives. “Lonnie has a tremendous wealth of experience in manufacturing that will be invaluable in our efforts to aggressively build upon ProBuild’s leadership position in this area.”
Most recently, Bernardoni served as corporate vice president of new product introduction for Motorola. During his 18-year tenure with Motorola, he also served as vice president of supply chain, manufacturing operations manager, plant manager and manufacturer process engineer - positions he held in both domestic and international Motorola facilities.
Bernardoni received his BA in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana. He and his wife will relocate to the Denver area.
